Clearly you have a reading comprehension problem. Understand that the word in that sentence "ban" is a the imperative mood or form of the verb ban. It states a desire or directive to ban assault weapons and you'd save lives. Nowhere there does it say that assault weapons were banned. Like a true trumpturd, you distort the facts and present an alternate version of reality in order to further your warped disgusting agenda.
