BTW, there is a rule on multiple procedures where Part B only pays half on the second procedure in a day. For people on Medicare. I used to work with GI docs a lot who wanted to do an EGD in the morning and a colon scope on the same patient in the afternoon. Couldn't get paid right on the second procedure. They all ended up,scheduling in consecutive days. Bet this is the Sae on your doc.
