About time for another order? If you remember the last one was moved up from Q1 to last September.

Sector,

There has to be some kind of s/w order in place to ASND for the new UUFAX service (it has been in testing at UUNET for 3 months). As I posted, MAXTNT is s/w upgradeable for fax service. Ejabat said that MAXTNT is the only RAS/RAC that can provide fax service (don't know if true). Regardless, a full roll-out of UUFAX should be positive for ASND, as each port presumably requires a s/w license (doubtless discounted in quantity). The fax s/w upgrade had not previously been mentioned with respect to UUNET's port purchases, so it may or may not be in that prior order.

I think it's because the merger of WCOM and MCIC. Now MCIC's internet business will be UUNET's, ie, ASND's.
