I'm blown away that no analyst upgrades have followed the MS conference.

Larry,

Don't the analysts' big clients have to purchase first? Then, they can upgrade, right? <VBG>

Actually, the upgrades may be pending because RAS/RAC (ASND's first business) simply is not very good. Revenues will be flat. This may explain why perception has been slow to catch up with reality. The reality is that ASND's new core switching business currently is driving revenue growth and, as Ejabat said, will "cross" RAS in 1998 in terms of total revenue. I think this is significant news (and it explains why total revenues will increase in 1998). If I were an analyst, I'd upgrade on this news, but there really weren't any analysts at the MS conference to catch on to that statement. Also, as Ashby said, non-Japan Asia growth will be gravy to revenue. Also potential gravy, I think, is the possibility of Japan RAS/RAC growth sometime in the future. These are nice dark horses to have.
