Jim:

Fortunately I remember Mr. Rodgers neighborhood. Sure I can say
"double bottom." See, I knew I could. <g>

Your post made me recall some older issues of a daily HK service
I subscribe to over the web called Asiawind. A couple months ago
they mentioned the bounce after October had left a "gap(?)" down
around 9000. At the time, I interpreted it to mean somone had dug
a hole and had forgotten to fill it in. It would eventually be necessary to go do that. (I'll bet you've already figured out T/A
is not my strong point.)

On the positive side, I read an analysts note on CITIC Pacific
saying it was one of their "top picks for 1998." The firm was
Robert Cappell, which I believe is owned by HSBC. I will attempt to
retrieve and post.

Regards,

Doug
