clearly mannie, government officials in vietnam are not followers of Thích Nhat Hanh. i guess now he will have to go through that process or they will want to know why not and probably assume he is guilty of something. :( would you have difficulty taking those items with you when you travel there?

mannie- i feel yer pain. i often have similar results in trying to send books to my son in california (victorville federal pen). someone thinks, for some reason, this is a good thing to do. why is it so hard for us to realize, you just can't fight goodness and win? i'm sorely tempted to give up eating from the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. can you send me some vitamins and nutritional supplements? i can trade you Thich Nhat Hahn's book, "How to Fight" and... you could send it to Hung. -ep
