I don't think he knows what communism is. Canada health act (or Medical Care Act) came in the late 60's and after almost 60 years of free healthcare, I don't think the state is any closer to centrally controlling and owning the means of production... In the USA, the social contract is along racial lines. Whites (who perceive themselves as the "haves") don't want to give to the "takers" (who are primarily in their perception blacks and hispanics).

Best colleges are still in America.

Canada relies heavily on American innovation for health care. It can be argued that America actually subsidizes a lot of Canada's "free health care."

Socialism works as long as you can continue to draw upon other people's money. When that dries up, you get Venezuela.
