Longnshort, remember when Trump bragged to Billy Bush about being able to "grab women by the pussy"? And Billy Bush was just laughing along?

Think about who Trump said that to, and why.

Trump didn't say that to a farmer from the Midwest. The farmer would be disgusted because he would likely be a man who believes in family values.

He didn't say that to a military vet because it would sound too elitist, and the vet would be disgusted that he fought for such degenerate values.

He didn't say that to a Silicon Valley entrepreneur, or to a New York City lawyer, because their corporate cultures would not agree with such talk about sexual harassment.

Instead, he said it to a Hollywood celebrity. Why? Because that's the kind of culture that is alive and well within Hollywood. Show biz is full of males that flaunt their wealth and their power, and it is full of females that chase after that, even spreading their legs to win favor from these males.

In other words, when Trump bragged about "grabbing women by the pussy," he was giving a message that resonated with the audience, in this case a member of the Hollywood elite.

That's why I suspect Jimmy Kimmel is silent with regard to the Weinstein scandal. I believe he has been a willing participant in conversations like what Trump and Billy Bush had, and he's genuinely nervous that someone might out him.

One more thing. Look at Ben Affleck. He decided not to stay silent about the Weinstein scandal.

What happened? He got outed for sexually harassing someone years ago, and he was forced to apologize.

These Hollywood men, they are shutting their mouths for a reason.

OK, one more post, and I'll shut up.

One of my friends on FB is a journalist, and she has done interviews with Hollywood celebrities.

She posted on FB how disgusted she is with Weinstein and how she hopes to see him rot in hell.

I asked her how common this stuff is in Hollywood.

Still no answer from her.
