That's pure utter garbage. USA has expensive healthcare, because...

- gouging of prices by drug companies, hospitals and doctors (prices are not negotiable and they can set them whatever the f*ck they like them to be at)... it's like a licence to print money$$$$$. And NO you can't go shopping around for cheaper hospitals, doctors and services as they DON'T publish their rates.

- USA is the most litigious country in the world. Drs over service and recommend every possible test to cover their butts. Expensive$$$

- Insurance system is beaurocratic and expensive$$$... copays, deductibles, in/out-network, over-complicated billing system with layers upon layers of systems.

BTW, "new technologies" and drugs are under patent and sold abroad to other countries using them. They don't get them for free. The other countries are funding US healthcare partially.

Of course, you live in a Fact-free trumpian world and won't accept any of that.
