I think the republican party is devolving. Their ability to think clearly and speak in full sentences is declining rapidly. Perhaps we're seeing a new inferior subspecies - one that thinks repeating words like "snowflake" makes them look tough. One radio talk show quit after Trump was elected and he said he had hoped to create informed, articulate and critical thinking republican party but instead they created a bunch of drones who do what they're told. A republican senator came out with a book a few months ago about how his party destroyed discourse in this country and divides us. I think we see that every day. Trump says "NFL" (which has nothing to do with governing) and his followers can't help stop themselves. The media is just as bad. They've made this lunatic into a god.
