Herbold has a typical MS attitude..

I think Gates is not stupid enough to not have a contingency plan for win98's integration with the browser. Since the stakes are too high, and if the gov judges against the integration, Gates has no choice but to comply, unless he buys out the government. I don't know why MS officials insist they have no back-up plan. Is it to insist they believe they're right and all will be dandy?

the next to last paragraph is customary of MS but a scary concept.
the 13th should be interesting..
I bet bill's billions he's ready for arguing his integration of win98/browser.

In essence, MSFT suggests that anyone writing software for sale should give up (or hope MSFT buys them out).

Which paragraph are you talking about? I'd love to see where you got that from.
