Hi Scott,
Like I said I beleive all scripture to have many interpretations to guide as in our walk. I can add another side to this there is a desire to take out the roots of the Eucharist from Passover. I believe as Paul says in 1 Cor. 5 that we should celebrate it in a new way but remembering the root of what God has done in His plan of deliverance. At one point I had given up on the harassment from the Churchs on the Feast being dead and the Old Testament being dead that I prayed and said OK I quit. But then I felt this incredible peace and the feeling that No it is right to celebrate what He has done what He accomplished. How do we really know what He fulfilled if we refuse to accept it as a part of Him? We must all be willing to grow for He is the God of life and is constantly wanting us to grow it is part of His very nature. May the Lord bless you today, Nancy

Scott, I too have ruminated on this a lot. What could it be...obviously the anti-christ himself giving mass in the temple, if they do move the Vatican to Rome, discussed in newsprint within the last year by the Pope and someone weird to me. Tex Mars found this and reprinted the meeting, and there are hints in print other places as I remember. But not bringing it up to spread rediculous rumor, I just wish I had taken better note of it.

With me it is the mother goddess thing. What if the Eucharist is removed, as offensive to this and that. Then the Bible is removed as offensive to this and that. Ah, what is left--The Virgin Mary,
popular in all continent roots except maybe Australia as the goddess holding the baby.

Then just strip off the "Virgin Mary" to not offend this and that and
you have............Mystery Babylon Religion! The ancient temple of Diane and Cybele re-establish in 2000 after a 2000 year absense. The World Church the Global Village of pagans can all live with!

And us? Well, don't want to spread alarm to those who have not really been thinking about it with all the other worldly things to think about or lose everything, but we are not in the plans for the Global Village. Trust me. Except maybe as Roman Collesium blood sport, once again reviving itself. Even that has crossed my mind.

Scott:

Very interesting thought on "abomination" mentioned by Jesus. Like Nancy who I believe posted on the subject, I also am coming more and more to believe that Scriptures are very, very deep and can have multiple applications. Have you ever had the experience of having read a Bible passage many times and then one day when you are having a particular problem or experience, reading the same passage and it having a brand new meaning which relates to your situation? I believe many Christians have had this experience. This is one of the examples of the concept of Scriptures being the "living Word." In any event, the passage in Matthew 24:15 could have the application you refer to as well as some other future application. Time will tell.

In Christ, Tom
