Bill,
I think you and I have become far more bearish lately, and with good reasons.AAHH!But timing is everything!I "thought" we would have volatility but with swings from - to + so I could trade puts and calls to scalp a point or two.NOT!The market is reacting to the issues that turned me bearish in early OCT.My calls will never recover due to the time premium. This is a little more scary than the Oct sell off.If we had those huge one or two day drops, people would rush in.But you are probably right about a call opportunity, as I think we have a little rally left IF earnings or warnings going forward don't spook everyone next week.I wonder what the record number of consecutive down days is ? A couple of good announcements would really help.Other than that I don't see anything on the horizon soon to give investors back that "warm and fuzzy" feeling to spur buying. We are too close to expiry for me to play ANY otpions today.
If you get a chance would you please send me your pretty vix chart so I can compare the buy to the old double buy chart?TIA
Regards,
Barbara
