My body is all natural; it does not respond well to medication. Last medication I took, the Zpack (Zithromax) created havoc with my hormones. I had massive sweats at night for 31 days where I had to change the sheets on the bed every night and my blood sugar skyrocketed. My endocrinologist thought I had diabetes. I had diabetic nerve pain in my feet and my toes became very scaly. It took 45 days for my hormones and blood sugar level to get back to normal. It's amazing, but all the other symptoms magically went away too. Other medications and Chinese herbs I have taken in the past have also produced violent reactions. I'm lucky I can take over the counter artificial tear drops for my dry eyes.
