From CNN: Roughly 370,000 jobs were added to U.S.
payrolls in December, the Labor
Department said Friday, more than the
225,000 gain economists predicted. The
unemployment rate for December came in
at 4.7 percent and hourly wages rose one
cent.

Did you get my last post?

Hi Trufflette, **OT**I'm home today, We've had very severe ice and rain storms in Ottawa with hoare frost weighing down branches of trees and snapping electrical wires, causing many power outages. So,I can watch the market today. My prediction for '98. I'm a contrarian; the Asian Crisis is serious but the reaction to it way overdone. The tech stocks are going to lead the market out of this Funk, especially IOM, CPQ and DELL. We may have to wait awhile, but it will occur. SR

Here's an article discussing tech stocks that may benefit from the Asian malaise. It doesn't mention Iomega, but the reasioning might apply.
