I agree with you completely. We are probably on the edge of a correction. Or, we may trade sideways for a while, best case scenario I think. I am mostly in cash, risk reward is just too great right now. However, on the bright side for the market, the markets are propped up by huge inflows of baby boomer money. They won't be pulling that money out untill 2008. Further, our economy right now is in the best of all possible worlds. We have low unemployment but as yet, no inflation. We have low cost goods because competition is so strong globally and markets are freer than they have ever been. (And I would talk to you again no matter what you said.) Not being a real psychic like Penni, I am not sure how to put the rosy economic picture together with the fact that stocks today are at historic levels of valuation. I take comfort in the fact that I am not alone in my puzzlement.

I hope you will mention this again on Rambi! We work hard at silly but as most of us are sitting here for a reason, we also enjoy reading intelligent thoughts about the market. I've lost a lot of money on options this month, and will never buy any again. Right now I'm just sitting in my money market and praying all my losers have some good news and go up enough for me to get out.
