Philips' Nino Takes On PalmPilot

Philips is looking to take on 3Com's dominating PalmPilot in the
handheld market. Today at CES the company unveiled its new Nino 300
pen-based handheld PC, a Windows CE-based device targeted at
consumers who want portable e-mail and a personal information
manager. It will be priced less than the more extensively featured Velo
handheld, which has a suggested retail price of $549.
