Thanks, yeah, that makes very good sense... the major averages are moving higher, but the managers of those averages can discard a poorly performing stock and replace it with a better performing stock, this keeps the averages looking better than the full herd of stocks... it's a con game of smoke and mirrors... but as with most anything, as long as we understand the game, then we can make money playing it...
