Hi Kirk,
I'm going to post a link for a response of my current opinion (which
is subject to change 8^) ) to a question posed by Paul V.

The current financial crisis in Pac-Rim countries is having a
very negative impact on US markets and will likely cause a 10-20%
further decline in US markets and stocks prices. AMAT will be at
the mercy of investors/funds and will probably follow the market
trends. Technology companies are perceived to be weak, or at
least be on weak footing, so investors will put their money where
things are still strong or have better short/mid term potential.
A hard call right now, but any price below $25 should be considered
a bargain, if it occurs.
Money invested now may see rewards in 1-3 years like we
experienced this past year. Short term, investors may not want to
wait, but long term investors can't lose, IMHO.

Regards,
BB
