Democrats are like any other person on the planet, we make simple mistakes that are easily corrected. I have never met a republican in my life who isn't a habitual liar. Ask a republican how his party pays for things and why the debt always soars under republican presidents after each of them promised to balance the budget and every republican will come up with dozens of lies. Ask a republican voter why he voted for other republicans because they had a better plan than the ACA but never once asked to see their plan? Did they know their party was lying or do they simply hate everything Democrats do to move the country forward? You see, we're talking about people who are clearly turning into a subspecies of slow, ignorant, racist, knuckle-draggers.
