You can't know what Kelly knew or didn't know .. thus your leap to 'he lied' is just your ignorant opinion.

I agree Kelly should've stayed out of it, but he views his job as keeping the POTUS from messing up more.

BTW there was a Master Sergeant in the car and he put the phone on speaker.
