Actually Chapman University is/was a quite conservative university. I think that is still the case, however with the vast changes taking place these days I may be sadly mistaken.

Chapman University is a conservative school. Before posting the study, here, went to their website and read enough about them to establish they were trustworthy.

That said. Surveying opinion isn't easy. The results you get can be skewed by how the questions are worded even if you do you best to be objective and fair which I'm sure the Chapman University folks were.
