When the US was the biggest importer of oil it made sense for the dollar to be the global currency. Doesn't it now make equal sense that China which is the largest importer of oil use its currency now?

In the end, it comes down to how solid our agreement with Saudi Arabia is. If we had a history of keeping our word on presidential agreements no one would be asking these questions but things have changed.
