Bru, I've softened my position on "W" re the go to war intelligence. From all the research I could find, the "fault" lies with Cheney, Rummy, and the neo Cons. Almost all the intelligence proving Saddam had nothing but old Reagan era WMDs was quashed. Bush had little choice but to go with the "ginned up" intelligence handed him. On other things I am still pretty tough on "W". At least "W" was/is a "civil" and good person. Trump is just a POS scumbag maggot of a human being. And very, VERY dangerous. RDK

I have history on my side so I don't need to make excuses. There were no WMDs in Iraq which means Saddam told the truth and Bush lied.

I understand your reluctance to accept facts that don't conform to your beliefs but nevertheless the facts won't change by your refusal to accept them.

The UN did not have unfettered access in 1998. That was before 9/11. You're attempting to compare apples and oranges.
