Could someone direct me to the web site that has information pertaining to remaining scheduled launch dates? I didn't see anything on the iridium home page. Thanks

Scott

Sorry, I dont think I can help you much.
When I was investors relation I used a Brazilian software that connected me online to Bovespa and Boverj (Sao Paulo and Rio SE). That was three years ago.
I know Gazeta Mercantil (Our Wall Street Journal) has one of such systems, that you can subscribe. If you want, I can try to find that old software company to see what services they offer nowadays (they transmitted by radio).
My strategy is to invest in a few companies (Usually 4 or 5 - but 3 at the moment - mainly in energy and telecom for the last 8 years). I am not skittish and don't mind loosing some if I have already earned a lot. The companies I invest are those where I know the people who own it or who manage it and have some insight into the company because of that or because a friend does. I usually dont go into company details of the whys and whens, I look at management style, vision and market needs. I look for opportunities on companies that tend to grow and take risks to do so. It works, at least in Brazil. I never lost money in the market, on the contrary. I just follow the behaviour in papers and once a week talk to some friends in the market to get an outsider point of view. Iridium is my first incursion in the foreign market (Iridium Brasil is theoretically a public company, but whoever owns the shares does not sell them...), and it is the only one I look a little more into the details, because it is completely new technology.
If you intend to make incursions in the Brazilian stock market I suggest energy (a) they are privatizing the state monopolies, b)the monopolies did not invest enough to sustain a constant growth of demand above the 4% - industry is growing 7%) Blackouts are just starting to occurr and the public will be outrageous when it comes in full. The Brazilian company that is best positioned for growth is INEPAR, who happen to own 55% of Iridium Brasil, who owns 2% of Iridium LLC. They are both in telecom and energy - two sectors that will grow tremendously during the next years in Brazil.

Sorry for the delay in answering. In Brazil we still take one month vacation... I was "out of the air" as we say in Brazil.
But if you are serious about Brazil, I can check it for you. Just let me know.
