Yes, he wanted to brag about being given a Superbowl ring. Trumpov admires the rich guys who own NFL teams and has long wished to be one of them. The guy is the most powerful man on earth and worth billions, given the royal treatment no matter where he goes and you think he is bragging about a super bowl ring??....that's a long stretch. Absolutely. He WAS bragging about a Superbowl ring. He tried to become an NFL owner a couple times and never made it. That's why he's very very interested in the NFL. And thinks about the NFL from the standpoint of "I should own a team" then he could have his own Superbowl ring. BTW, the guy who gave him the ring probably has a drawerful. And Trumpov isn't personally a billionaire. He runs (until recently) a family business that is probably worth $3 billion but his ownership percentage can't be more than 8.325%. See here: Message 31315586 I assume the family has a management or oversight committee to approve his decisions so he doesn't drive the Trump Org into the ground as he did his privately owned businesses. Mainly though he did answer the question but you were too enchanted by the authors stupid mockery A verbatim transcript is mockery? Well, yeah, when a guy is as scatterbrained as Trumpov. Bartiromo treated him great. But in doing so, she let his mind wander. And in fact, he didn't give much of an answer to Bartiromo's question. Let's review: Bartiromo asked why be afraid to cut taxes on the top earners since they pay 80% of the (income) taxes? His answer was a stammering around, finally getting to "it's about me representing rich people." Then he jumps straight to the Super Bowl ring, about which he has more to say than tax policy toward the rich. Now if the purpose of tax reform is to stimulate the economy, it can't do that unless it affects the people who pay most of the income taxes. So a good question. Of course, whether a tax cut at today's level will produce much stimulation is debatable but there's no way Trumpov could intelligently discuss the issue ... so hey, I got a Superbowl ring.
