I disagree, one has to do a statistical analysis of what happened; and use some logic.

E.g. what if Obama had lost? Would people have said he should not have run against Hillary?

Didn't Bernie have as much right to run against Hillary as Obama did?

What is the difference between Obama running and Bernie running?

The majority of liberals in the Democratic party wanted someone other than Hillary. Hillary was forced on them by the dem establishment e.g super delegates and chits owed to her by establishment Democrats.

The liberals wanted Obama over Hillary because he ran a more progressive campaign and then didn't follow through. The liberals wanted Warren over Hillary. What if Warren had run? Would she be blamed for Hillary's loss?

But most importantly virtually "all' of the votes Stein pulled were Hillary voters and many stayed home as Stein pounded Hillary to the end saying Hillary was a bad as Trump. Bernie on the other hand worked his ass off for Hillary and is still working hard for the liberal causes. Harder than Hillary is right now.

And most of the Bernie votes that went to Trump, or stayed home were never Hillary votes.

The Republicans amazingly are kicking our ass by out maneuvering e.g. gerrymandering.

We need to think strategically.

Sorry - a vote for Stein or Bernie or Donald Duck or Superman are equally inane IMO.

The people that voted for any of those or who stayed home lost the election. Of registered Dems, that was the low turnout of certain segments. Bernie Bros and other people who didn't close ranks did it. Lowest turnout in years shows the alacrity of the leadership.

7% of the black vote would have tipped the scales. There is no shortage of people, sectors and organizations to blame. But when it came time to vote, you have to suck it up when your candidate choice doesn't make the ballot or you get what we have. Bernie's false equivalence was there too - he can't walk that back and that became an excuse to stay home. "Aw, it doesn't matter... they are all just as bad." thinking was what put this steaming POS into the White House. Here's another sector that shot themselves in the foot.

The black voter turnout rate declined for the first time in 20 years in a presidential election, falling to 59.6% in 2016 after reaching a record-high 66.6% in 2012.

This has little to do with the residual loyalty of Bernie voters and everything to do with Obama no longer being on the ballot.
