Hi Rick! The conference call "replay" had the first part cut off because of a technical problem by the Tele-conference company. They are trying to get it corrected.

The "replay" runs for 3 days. The conference itself was "live" and the questions were compiled from Brokers and from FAMH. I understand there were about 70 brokers in on it. Can you imagine what a "spontaneous" call would be like with 70 people on the line?

The format is designed this way because it would be impossible to have a "reasonable conversation" without an organized format. I believe the person asking the questions is from the Tele-conference company.

Ira Monas will have another conference call next Thursday that is supposed to have about 140 Brokers in on it. We can probably again hear the replay afterwards (hopefully in its entirety).

I suspect questions will again come from Brokers (they submit questions prior to the conference). It will probably also include particular points that FAMH wants to cover as well. Seems like a logical process to me.

Best wishes,
Brad

I'm sure it was done to save money. The portion of the call which
we received was almost a summary. As for the scripted questions,
that is not at all uncommon when trying to get as much information
out as possible in the shortest amount of time.

The reason why it didn't tell us anything we don't know is because
the details of the negotiation CAN'T be made public yet without
putting the negotiations at risk. That would be bad for all of us if
we messed up the deal because we weren't willing to wait a couple of
weeks. This is what I've been told when I've made my calls any way...
