That is a bogus number. A lot of these money are NOT "Give" for free! They are low interest loans. China is NOT STUPID! The money will be returned in goods form. I suspect a lot of those lithium mine and other mine product imported from Chile and Argentina are NOT the sales for Cash, but returned loans to China.

I know for a fact that a lot of African countries, or some Southeastern Asian countries, such as Thailand or Philippines, they use agriculture product to return China's loans. Most of black sesame consumed in China are from Ethiopia, and Thailand rice sold in China, or banana/mango from Philiphines sold China, tons of example.
