According to our crack FBI investigators, he left no trace. He was so careful, he removed his hard drive after buying software to wipe it (apparently the first person ever to actually pay for a disk cleanup utility). And instead of demolishing it with a flurry of AR15 bullets, like he did with the concert-goers, he took the time to unscrew the back of his laptop, detach the ribbon cables and remove it. Then he was able to dispose of it in such a secret place in his hotel room, the FBI has no idea where it could be. Did he put it in the safe? Did he flush it down the toilet? Is it disguised as a candy-bar in the minibar? Maybe he ate it?

As the police chief said, we may never know.
