CEO SUNW just on live on CNBC

was upbeat, pushing JAVA, no statement on earnings, but a positive sounding interview.

Anyone who thinks he/she never makes a mistake or that he/she knows
everything is, well, someone I don't want to know. I've made too many
public mistakes here to begin counting them (like, um, CPQ will acquire
ASND by year-end 1997). At least we all can learn, which makes it all
interesting.

Gary,

Your point is well taken. I did want to say that an aquisition by CPQ by years end was a prediction that did not come true. It was not a mistake. A mistake might be quoting an incorrect prior earnings or something to that affect. Predicting the future is difficult at best and an incorrect prediction is not a mistake. We all make mistakes. I more than most but would not call a predicition a mistkae. One more point! You did an excellent job on research to make your prediction. You did not pick an idea out of thin air. It also gave hope during a lousy fall.
