Well, almost finally ....

I had to include our embedded processor friends.

Less than 2 years to that fateful day,
Will we be compliant? I think "no way".
So what do we do to soften the blow,
Get airplane tickets and be set to go?

But planes have processors deeply embedded,
And folks are fearful of what they dreaded.
To fall from the sky would make a mess,
Have to try another way out, I guess.

A slow boat to China might do the trick,
On the seas at midnight, sailing not so quick.
But what if the computers in subs below,
See the boat as a threat, and strike it a blow?

What's left to do, we've tried many ways,
To avoid the sheer panic during those days.
Even elevators aren't safe from the Y2K trouble,
The speed they go down will more than double.

So let's put our thinking heads together,
To find a solution, the night to weather.
Let's meet in Times Square that fateful night,
And watch the ball drop. Enjoy the sight.

The world will continue on its merry way,
The Y2K problems will, in time, go away.
The Euro Conversion will take their place,
In the ongoing saga of the Human Race.
