Let me address the area that seems to bother you the most and I'll keep it simple since complexity causes you so much discomfort.

"Do republicans unlearn facts?"

As stated previously a majority of republicans thought Obama was born in Kenya without any evidence to support that claim.

They then unlearned that lie after Obama put out his birth certificate.

"Did they relearn the lie?"

"Seventy-two percent of registered Republican voters still doubt President Obama’s citizenship, according to a recent NBC News|SurveyMonkey poll conducted in late June and early July of more than 1,700 registered voters. And this skepticism even exists among Republicans high in political knowledge."
