Major updates can take so long. The Win 10 update to version 1709 went smoothly on my desktop but on the laptop it seemed frozen after a couple of hours. So I cold started and the process started again and this time completed ok. Reliable update progress indicators would be a nice feature. Also, the user's "active hours" may not allow Windows to restart after an update, unless you override. I keep updating on weekends which is likely a busier time for this.
