One would certainly think so.

I've never taken a lot of interest in Manaforte since President Trump got rid of him from the White House. But if he is arrested, we will all have to learn more about him so we can effective do battle, if we choose.

Wouldn't Manafort know about the $10K/day limit onwire transfers and send $ more inconspicuously, if he was avoiding gov't scrutiny?

I'm sure he does.

But it is unwise to "tinker around" with a transfer that is 10K or over.

For instance, if someone breaks a 10K transfer up - into say 3 transfers over 3 days, 4 transfers over 4 days, etc. - it can shine an even brighter light on them.

It "looks" suspicious and so the government often prioritizes a "Gotcha Flag" on those prior to looking at the "over 10K" transactions.
