Judy,
Right now there is a combination of negative sentiment about oil prices and market fears combining to hit anything oil related. But the big picture is that the earnings and earnings growth among these companies will be stronger and more reliable than virtually any sector in the market. That will bring buying back into them.

To the (former) brotherhood and sisterhood of losers(soon to
be winners):

Today is the bottom for our sector. Even if we base from here,
we're not going any lower. Recommemd accumulation of RIG near
$38, FLC near $27.5, FGII near $22. Today will mark the end
of the correction.

Thank you, Judy. Now let me make a hypothetical assumption: what if the weather suddenly turns around and dips the whole world into a frozen hell? What would be your take on the price of the oil and oil service sector? Not that this is my death wish warrant, but things in nature could change drastically despite what the meteorologists say. We have to believe that there is an order in the universe that there be a difference between summer and winter which, if disrupted, something else is bound to happen. Maybe malaria? Black Death? Yellow fever plague? or War? When the normal eco system is damaged, disasters abound.
