You think Manafort and Gates and all the other people that the tentacles that this will reach out to are going to sit around and wait for Trump to retire? The one thing Trump has proven over and over is his disloyalty to people around him. Papadapolous seems to be already have flipped and is talking. The far right attempt to deflect - again - is looking increasingly hollow.

>> Marc Rich was charged with almost the same things as Manafort, including conspiracy against the United States.

Well, Rich was a fugitive from justice, while Manafort has apparently turned himself in.

I think Rich's status as a fugitive made that pardon beyond ridiculous, but then the payment by Rich to the Clinton Library Foundation was absurd.

We should have seen it as a precursor to the years of skanky behavior which have followed from the Clintons.

A pardon for someone who has faced the court system and the justice it metes out is one thing; a pardon for someone who left the country to avoid capture is something quite different, IMO.
