I realize facts don't matter

My general impression of conservative Republicans is that of callousness and ossification.

My general impression of Trumpist Republicans--reckless and dim.

My general impression of progressive Democrats--air-headed and whiny.

An impression is even less substantial than an opinion and it is certainly well short of a fact.

If pressed I could probably give you some basis for my impressions in the form of some more specific impressions interspersed with some observations and anecdotes, perhaps the occasional fact. But it wouldn't be substantial or supportable with logic or verifiable in any way, iow, non-defensible. Further I would recognize that my impressions are judgmental and exaggerated and over-generalized. I could certainly make no claim of truth. They are just impressions.

So, I sure wouldn't write post after post asserting those impressions as though they were anything more than my own rough sense of things. Impressions by their very nature cannot be substantiated. I realize this. You have tried to elevate yours through repeated assertion to the presumed status of settled wisdom. At best you have opinions.
