RE: Arlington, TX Channel Check.

I went to CompUSA at lunchtime today and made several observations related to Borland:

1) Borland is still commanding a large portion of the programming area, with C++Builder and Delphi and to a lesser extent JBuilder. Their shelf space seems to have grown since my last check, while other language companies have shrunk.

2) They're giving quite a bit of stuff away with C++Builder, plus you now get a free upgrade to C++Builder 3.0 when it comes out. (Must be coming soon...)

3) In the book area, I couldn't find a single book about Borland products. Availability of (and demand for) third-party books has always been excellent for Borland, so this is a little disturbing. I know that the books are out there, but they were in the CompUSA that I went to.
