The "golden goose" was dying and without his help and the help of the Democratic Party the US would have ceased to exist. You don't know our economic history because you and your party were hell-bent on hating our first black president and doing everything in your power to undermine and destroy the US. The Great Recession defined a generation but it also defines our parties. Republicans put party above all else and in so doing consigned itself to the dustpan of history. Its able to buy power because its Court gave them unlimited cash to buy elections and influence voters is undermined the core principles of our nation. Do your research. Start by reading timelines of the Great Recession. Then research dark money in politics. You'll learn how utterly evil that party is. Everything it thinks it's doing for the good of the party is destroying our country. Their debt created from tax cuts prove they will do whatever they can do bankrupt the country.
