I guess the use of the FP registers killed that. But there is always a work around by shifting the decimal points. Integer math was always faster than floating point, may have been the intention behind this. The poor mans floating point. >>It is not "probably", the K6-3D instructions were spacifically DESIGNED to provide effective recalculation of vertex coordinates in 3 dimensions. By definition it is achieved via matrix arithmetics. << I assume AMD will be implementing Floating Point matrix arithmetic capabilitities.
