I assign guilt based on facts, not my personal feelings. Without charges, trials, and juries what kind of country would we be?

We used to arrest a man who killed a president and a man who killed his brother. Today, police don't bother with arrests. They kill (commit murder).

The officer in NY who killed the terrorists (or whatever word we use) shot and killed him without even attempting to arrest him and he's called a hero. This is not how our justice system is supposed to work. Cops don't get to decide who they're going to execute. Judges and juries decide. If the man was armed and shooting, then and only then would shooting him be acceptable regardless of his crimes. No one questions the fact that he murdered this man in cold blood. Why not. No one allowed to think, to question. You seem to be the same sort of person...assign guilt based on your feelings, not the "rule of law." No juries, no judges, no trials, no indictments etc. I find your belief system to be very problematic.

While I understand the need for people who want revenge against someone who's killed many people it's not what we do...or it's not what we used to do. Now, there are no rules of law. Sec. Clinton is innocent until proven otherwise. Period.

I know bank CEO lied to investors prior to the Great Recession. They said they could handle record foreclosures and they lied but this came after a president lied about WMDs and no one dared to question him.

I'm fully aware CEOs were not fired and not imprisoned. I can understand that they agreed to show the Fed what they had done so the Fed could begin the process of undoing it in exchange for no charges. No one in government had a clue what they were doing especially the Fed (and bank regulators). It was a farce. The regulators simply lacked the skills or knowledge to do their jobs. The Fed was complacent. The banks said don't regulate us and the Fed went before Congress and said don't regulate them (derivatives).

All these things don't excuse boards not firing the CEOs after the crisis was over.

Why aren't derivatives regulated? Are we allowed to ask questions yet? If the idiot in the WH tweets it, then it's news. But the idiot in the WH has no idea what derivatives are. It's the nation we've become - a nation of idiots who voted for an idiot to lead us.
