I went to the library to comfort myself with the smell and feel of books, and because after this week, I don't think I can afford to buy at Barnes and Noble with my usual profligate abandon. I found the Trollope, The Awakening---if it's Kate Chopin?-- and one that Diane has recommended, Under the Tuscan Sun. I'm making a pot of tea and curling up in front of the fireplace and pretending i never heard of GLM, IBM, and HELE.
