Cosmo: MSCC, you are probably right, though I tend to prefer shorting hype companies. I've actually been buying some beaten down semis SFAM, ALRN, AMAT, LSI (latter two sold). I assume they don't have a lot of SEAsia exposure because of their size, but that won't matter if the market tone continues. My ALRN long is down again today-PEs probably about 10. Maybe I'll ride MSCC down and up!

Cosmo, re. MSCC

I have been long MSCC for 1+ years and am curious to why it's such a great short. I have noticed that they have always had a high short interest, as of dec i think it was about 1.2 mil shares(The co. has only about 3.6 mil shares in the float). I think the reason they have not been as effected by the asian flu is that they are not as exposed as most of the other semis (their main focus being to the space industry) Also they have always traded at a substancial discount to the sector ie. PE of 12-15 while the sector was closer to 25-30.

Thanks for any comments
