David, I too have to learn to set my buy stops...As a chartist, what keeps me longer, is that i know if a stock breaks where it will pause(many a time), but as you might guess, I get burned too with bigger losses by applying this strategy...However, as I mentioned to Robet, my chartist-technical habits saved a point and 1/2 loss on ANTC today...Have a good weekend...Did not mean to seem harsh...Mark P.S. Does someone have handy the 200 day moving average on the dow, or can you tell me if we close lower than 900 on S& P....If we close lower than 900 on S& P., i will fasten my seatbelt and goggles for roller coaster ride down on Monday....
