No, the IRS doesn't have one office in one state. If you've ever filed your taxes, you would know certain tasks are centralized in various offices around the country. This one was at the mega center in Cincinnati, but directed by DC. Fact.

That excuse is one of the weakest, and frankly speaking one of the stupidest, you've used.
