Barton SciFi!? @Tao23 When someone DOES tell him the Japanese companies make cars here already, he'll say "No one knew .." There's no doubt he gets briefings from his staff on the countries he's visiting but he doesn't have the attention span to listen. Plus he thinks he knows it all already, has famously said he goes with his gut with only a shallow understanding of every subject. He mocks McMaster for trying to stay on subject during briefings after he goes of on tangents. He has superior genes, superior brain, so a shallow knowledge of anything (Japan a nation of samurais) is better than all the boring experts in the world.
