Summing up the Steele dossier predictions that later came true:

The dossier said a Trump campaign / Russia deal had been made to sideline the Crimean and Ukrainian issues.

At the Republican convention, the party platform was changed to remove "lethal aid" language.

------------------------------------------

The dossier alleged Russia offered the Trump campaign kompromat on Hillary.

An offer for kompromat on Hillary was described in a Papadopoulos email.

The Russian lawyer who met with Manafort, Jr, and Jared recently confirmed she'd offered kompromat on Hillary ... as the guy who set up the meeting had said.

---------------------------------------------

The dossier said 19% of Rosneft had been offered in exchange for dropping sanctions.

In December, 19.5% of Rosneft was in fact sold to unknown parties (Glencore and a Qatari investment fund were involved but were clearly facilitators and holders for an ultimate buyer.

----------------------------------

That last one is a big one imo. Apparently the massive bribery scheme fell through when Congress voted overwhelmingly (7/27/17) to impose NEW sanctions and take away the President's power to lift sanctions. With the deal busted, Rosneft arranged for most of the stake to be purchased by a private Chinese company on September 9, 2017:http://www.foxbusiness.com/features/2017/09/08/glencore-qatar-sell-14-stake-in-rosneft-to-chinese-energy-company.html

It looks like a team of sleazy moronic amateurs figured they could profit by selling American foreign policy.
