Barb, I would venture a guess that Asensio's real motivation in making his research public is to increase the selling pressure on a stock after he has established his own short position. That selling pressure would come from both scared longs and newly informed shorts. I personally have no problem with that motivation. I think we should all take whatever information we learn and apply our own judgement to those facts/opinions, in making our own investment decisions. If Asensio overstates or misleads, then it is his own credibility that will be lessened and his future influence. I personally have found his research to be very valuable. Best Regards, Ron
