"tech stocks are taking a beating", sure is an understatment.

With the recent meeting between Greenspan & "Mr YEN" the currecny market on the Japan/USD have show a volatile fluctuation. {Up/down by 2.5% last night}. So if the Japenese had invested long ago, and if US is too support the YEN, than maybe the investors are pulling their profits now to apply to their large debts at home.

And that caused the fluctuations. It's not a reflection on Newbridge. Just the world biggest buying oppertunity. As was mentioned Message 3133071 ASIA has little effect on Newbridge, but it will have an effect on US sales indirectly.

I have just tolked to NN.The guidance was given only on 1998 which will end in april 98.NN suggeted to include different growth for DTM (last con. call). NN DID NOT GUIDE ANYBODY FOR 1999 !.Growth for ATM unchanged !.So reported numbers for 1999( starting may 1998 ) are from the sky.Ravenue from trouble asian countrys abuot 4% !!!.China, Australia and Japan the major customers. For example, airport project in Malesia is underway.
